Standard system developed normally to be as quiet as possible. Simons® on the contrary, developed for drivers who want feedback from the engine. The goal of the Simons® Exhaust System is to find an attractive sound without being disturbing.

Warranty
On Simon's exhaust system there is a 5 years warranty.

Regarding RHD vehicles
Generally our parts, such as exhaust systems, frontpipes and Opti Flow-kits are developed for LHD cars. Some of them could also fit RHD cars, but we have no possibilities to test this.

Simon's Sportsystem in SS Quality is manufactured for the most part from stainless, so-called 18/8 steel (AISI 304/ EN 1.4307/ SS2333). To minimize the risk of cracks, internal parts are made of chrome steel (see TOP Quality), which is tougher than stainless steel. Flanges and some mounting details are mostly not made of stainless material. AISI 304 is technically an austenitic stainless steel. The steel is alloyed with approx. 18% chromium and 8% nickel. Austenitic steel is not magnetic in its normalized state but can become so during processing such as bending and welding. To guarantee the best weldability, we use stainless steel with an extra low carbon content. Stainless steel becomes discolored at high temperatures, which is normal and does not affect durability.

It is quite common for rust spots to appear on the stainless ones

the surfaces by the material being contaminated by other metals,

for example via spray from the road surface, also called fly rust. Nor

this significantly affects durability and it is often easy to

polish away if necessary.

Articles in SS Quality are not varnished. The modifiers are always manufactured

in polished, stainless material. The life expectancy of

products in SS-quality are 10-20 years.
