This performance intercooler is developed by do88 to replace the original / OEM intercooler and gives true performance without the need of rebuilding the whole car! This is certainly the most elaborate intercooler on the market for this car. This intercooler is so maxed in size that it utilizes every available millimeter in front.
Significant advantages with do88 performance intercooler (OEM intercooler):

This model of the intercooler is known as a Cross-Flow / X-flow intercooler. That is an intercooler which has the inlet on one side and the outlet on the other. SAAB 900 (94-) and the first years of 9-3 (98-99) do not have the Cross-Flow intercooler from factory, but an intercooler with inlet / outlet on the same side.
To install this intercooler on cars that do not have Cross-Flow from factory also need to replace the intercooler hoses. We also sell these hoses, Art nb: 522do88-kit69B
do88 performance intercooler are an all aluminium construction with cad designed, flow optimized cast end tanks and optimized core design (570x240x76mm) to achieve best possible cooling efficiency combined with lowest possible pressure drop!
Always remember that the OEM intercooler was designed for the power level the car was built for and a power increase or even very hard use of the car in a standard version may cause that the OEM intercooler don’t have the performance you need. So only after engine software tune do88 performance intercooler will give a performance increase over the OEM intercooler!
The OEM intercooler have plastic tanks that don’t keep up with higher boost levels very well so the do88 performance intercooler will also add reliability!
