The Swedish Minister for the Environment, Andreas Carlgren, gave his thumbs up for GreenRally, the motor sport pioneer by approving the ethanol powered rally car, which now has a cult following. This engine technology was developed by BSR.

During the Centre Party Convention in Kalmar Robin Sandberg’s rally team presented themselves at the Kalmar town square. The team presented, among other things, the world’s first ethanol converted rally car together with BSR, the Swedish Rally Association and the Swedish Motorsport Industry.

The source of environment inspiration for BSR, Malte Sandberg, was also given an opportunity to meet the Minister for Enterprise and Energy, Maud Olofsson for a discussion on the motor sport environment projects and the future of
motor sports.
