Two civil servants from the Swedish National Road Administration visited BSR this week to discuss, among other things, the future guidelines for alterative fuel conversions. Ever since the National Road Administration was commissioned by the Swedish Government to study this issue, they have been in contact with us as we have a great deal of experience of conversions and tests. Our views on measuring methods and appropriate exhaust emission levels for conversion were discussed in detail during this visit. Other topics were the OBD feature, warranty issues, certification requirements, and durability and safety issues.

We will stay in contact with the Swedish National Road Administration and keep them informed of the results of our tests regarding the vehicles included in the EU project BEST.
