What will BSR tuning change?
General description of changes/inspections performed by BSRs Motronic chip.

| Ignition (Ignition calibration matrixes) | Optimised for best performance and to comply with exhaust emission requirements, even with regards to exhaust emissions temperature. Possible knocking/pinging tendencies are controlled and adjusted. |
| Fuel (Fuel calibration matrixes) | Optimised for best performance and to comply with exhaust emission requirements. Exhaust emissions temperature control> |
| Boost Calibration (Boost Calibration matrixes) | Adapted to increased power and adjusted for required character. |
| Boost valve control (Boost valve duty cycle calibrations) | Regulated for appropriate boost pressure build-up and to eliminate possible boost pressure spiking. |
| Boost Calibration Limit (Boost level safety limit) | Adjusted for maintained safety. |
| Torque Gear Limit (Torque limit for each gear) | Regulated for optimum acceleration without exaggerated wheel spin, still maintaining safe transmission. |
| E-gas (Drive by wire) (Drive by wire calibration) | Adjusted for improved fuel response |
| Max Vehicle Speed Calibration (Speed limit) | Eliminated. |
| Max Engine Speed Calibration (Engine RPM limit) | No alteration. |
Some models do not have all the above mentioned features, and there may be other differences depending on model and make of the car.
