BSR has optimised and converted a number of competition cars for use with ethyl alcohol (E85).

Team Green Rally gives the environmental car a "new image" with the world's first ethyl alcohol fuelled rally car having achieved top results in, for example, the Super Cup for 2 wheel drive cars and even excellent result in the Swedish Championships amongst the 4 wheel drive cars in the major A Class. BSR has optimised the engine and provides the team with technical support.

Mikael Edstrand - technician at BSR - has optimised his fast Saab for drag racing using E85 fuel and has achieved extremely fast times.

The Swedish Car Sport Association is in dialogue with BSR and the Team Green Rally relating to ethyl alcohol with the ambition of environmentally adapting motor sport.
